Soccer-Russia call up Real Madrid's Cheryshev for U.S. friendly
MOSCOW, Oct 31 (Reuters) – Russia coach Fabio Capello has called up several newcomers, including Real Madrid forward Denis Cheryshev, for next month’s friendly against the United States. Italian Capello included the 21-year-old left winger in an expanded 35-man squad he named on Wednesday for the Nov. 14 game in the southern city of Krasnodar. Cheryshev, whose father Dmitry was a Russia international, plays for Real Madrid’s B team Castilla and has yet to feature for Jose Mourinho’s side. …


Motor racing-Hulkenberg signs for Sauber
ABU DHABI, Oct 31 (Reuters) – Germany’s Nico Hulkenberg will race for Sauber next year, the Swiss-based Formula One team said on Wednesday. The team have yet to confirm their second driver, with Mexican Sergio Perez leaving for McLaren and Japan’s Kamui Kobayashi facing an uncertain future.
