World soccer comes to Dimond Park Juneau Soccer Club's 3v3 World Cup
The joy of soccer will be front and center, and midfield and backfield for that matter, on Saturday and Sunday as more than 140 local competitors ages 7-14, grades 1st through 8th, countries from A-Z, will take to the turf pitch of Dimond Park Field House.Teams from around the globe will be represented, by name, in the annual Juneau Soccer Club’s Juneau 3v3 World Cup.The tournament was started to teach kids how to problem solve and learn on their own, without the help of parents and coaches. Parents in the stands can cheer, but they are not allowed to shout directions.
