Hayley Carter advanced to the finals of the International Tennis Federation's junior tournament at Lexington Tennis Center on Friday with a 6-3, 6-1 victory over sixth-seeded Rianna Valdes of Boca Raton, Fla. Carter, a Columbia native who also trains at the Smith Stearns Academy, will be seeking to become the first player to win back-to-back titles in the South Carolina ITF when she faces Kaitlyn McCarthy of Cary, N.C., in today's final.
