Sonny Bill joins Roosters in NRL return
The worst kept secret in rugby league has finally been confirmed, with the announcement that former All Black rugby union international Sonny Bill Williams has returned to the NRL to join the Sydney Roosters.The controversial 27-year-old was rumoured to be heading to Bondi Junction ever since he announced earlier this year that he was leaving rugby union in New Zealand to play for the Panasonic Wild Knights in Japan, before joining an unnamed NRL club in 2013.The confirmation marks Williams's return to the sport where he made his name. … Kaka hails Falcao ahead of Brazil-Colombia friendly

Soccer-Recalled Chandler says committed to U.S.
Nov 12 (Reuters) – German-born defender Timothy Chandler has been named in the United States squad to face Russia in a friendly international on Wednesday and says he is now ready to commit to Juergen Klinsmann’s team. A dual passport holder, Chandler made his debut for the United States against Argentina in a friendly but despite making eight appearances for the U.S. he has not featured in a competitive game. Chandler opted to skip the World Cup qualifying games in the CONCACAF region this year meaning that he still remains eligible to switch to the German team. …
